So sleepy..and cold

I went to the orientation for my new job today. It is going to take some getting use to making everything from scratch and learning how things work. I met one of the other girls that will be working there. She is a year older than me and she just moved from Portland Oregon. Her and her husband just got married and he is in special forces. I have to buy a white chef jacket and chef pants and shoes.We don't have to wear hats we have to buy bandannas. Which I guess is ok..better than that stupid ass baseball hat from Giant Eagle.I can wear my nose ring but I have to leave my wedding rings at home. I have to leave my purse at home so I have to figure out something. Still not sure on when I actually start working.

James is probably not coming home tonight..so it's just me and the boy. He has to work until 11pm and be back at like 3 or something like that so he is just going to sleep in the truck. Rowdy is passed out under the coffee table.I think I am going to take a nap too.I have tons of laundry to do but just can't get myself to do it.

I got a job!

So there is some good news. I got a job today!I start tomorrow for orientation at 10:30am. It is part time in a bakery..where else would it be. I will be decorating.I am going to be rolling in the big bucks baby $6.55 an hour. I know its not much but any little bit helps around here.We could use it. I will be getting paid more when I prove myself. I think it will be a good opportunity to learn more stuff. Like how to use fondant and gum paste! I know it doesn't sound exciting but it is. I am super nervous and kind of sad to leave Rowdy by himself.

Rowdy is doing ok. I got some ear cleaner and have been using it everyday. His ears have gotten soo much better.His folds are still kind of bad.I have been using monistat on them. The sneezing is still there and some congestion. Rowdy had some watermelon and some pears yesterday..he loves watermelon.This morning he had fruit loops.

I found out James will probably be gone for Thanksgiving.Stupid schools he has to go to.
Gas prices are finally starting to come down! i saw it for $2.49 today which is super cheap.

I haven't been feeling good lately.I think it's a UTI or kidney infection or something..whatever it is it's not good. I have been breaking out in sweats and fevers and my side is killing me.I don't get medical coverage until November 1st and I have to go to a regular family doctor before I can get a urologist.So I am going to try and make an appointment for the first week in November.

Halloween is on Friday!! My favorite time of year. I am making rice crispy treats in Halloween shapes with cool Halloween sprinkles for James to take to work on Friday.We got 2 pumpkins to carve. We don't have patterns or anything but I'm sure we will figure something out. Rowdy tried to drag them around the apartment.There was a cool challenge on Food Network last night with pumpkin carving it was freakin sweet.

Bad News =0(

I took Rowdy to the vet today.Our baby is a whole 60lbs..plus a few.He started sneezing again and coughing.Its a cold/respiratory infection.It turns out he has 2 severe ear infections with lost of yeast. He has infections in all 3 of his folds. He has this thing in his paws called dermatitis/hot spots, which can start to get really bad. He has this thing called Entropion..which means his eyelids fold into the eye on the bottom and increase tears and eye boogers.He needs surgery to fix that. We could only afford to get the medicine for his cough at a whopping $212. So I had to post date a check..sell some stuff, cash in all our change, and cancel our $40 membership to Sam's club.The crazy thing is he will be on the same exact medicine that he was on for his pneumonia at back home it didn't cost $87. This vet wouldn't even show me a better way to clean out his ears or anything..he said " We will talk about it when you come back". I don't think we will be going back there. I am going to look up some new vets around here. At Northview they would work with you when you couldn't come up with the money and let you do payments and they were more about helping the animal then cashing in on all that money.This guy was a jackass and very rude.

I Don't know what to do at this point..We are flat broke and don't get paid for another week.If we let these problems go they will get worse and he will get really sick. James wont get his bonus for a while so everything is going to have to hold off.No place will buy my snowboard and I can't take the steam vac back without a receipt(I don't know where that is).It's a good thing I payed off the walmart credit card..its what were going to use to pay for food.Why is it that every freaking bill has to come out of the first paycheck!?

I went on craigslist today and saw an ad for a cake decorating job and decided what the hell..so I emailed them and they told me to come in a fill out an application.So I did. Its a bakery with a bunch of army wives.Everyone seems nice..The bakery is only 5 to 10 minutes away from the apartment. The owner came out and talked with me. I showed her some pictures of cakes that I have done. She liked them a lot and said she will be calling me back Monday, if not before. I would only be working part time. Which is what I wanted and what James wanted too. It seems like a good deal and I hope I can start working soon..get enough money to get our baby back to good health.

To sum up everything....AHHHHHHHHHH F%CK!!!

Ouch my fingers hurt!

I just spent the last 45 minutes or so fixing just about every toy Rodwy has. Thats about 7 toys I fixed and my finger hurts a bit.

James is on the phone with one of the guys in his unit and I'm bored..and watching last weeks re-run of Army Wives. I have a crap load of laundry to do. I don't know if 1130pm is the time to do that. Maybe it will scare away some of those punk ass druggies that have been walking around.

We went back to Petsmart today with Rowdy. He got a new "Bad ass" collar( as James puts it).It is like 2 inch thick with spikes..just like his old one. We also went to the mall today. Holy freakin crap man I need a cattle prod to get around! SO MANY PEOPLE! James got a new watch.We got a home phone.Oh and we got a t-shirt for Rowdy..it was James idea.It says I love Meaty..He is a skateboarding bulldog on the MTV show Rob & Big.The boy didn't want me to take it off.

So I am getting another tattoo..this will be number 3. It's a B17 bomber plane with a vintage pinup girl in an Army uniform holding the American flag.Pretty freakin sweet.It's going to be bigger than I wanted but all of the details with blend if I don't get it bigger.I have to wait for the apt the first week of November. Since there is not going to be any outlines I have to do it all in one sitting. Sean the tattoo said it will be about a 7 hour sitting! OUCH..but totally worth it. After this blog I will post a picture of it. Just picture the Army chick on the B17..and No writing!There will also be a picture of Rowdy with his new stuff on from today.

Petsmart!

Rowdy went to Petsmart today. He got his nails trimmed and got his ears all nice and clean..even got some smell good spray.Rowdy played with a tiny little boxer and a bunch of Army guys.

Putting off cleaning.

I know I should probably be cleaning! The house is a huge mess.It's only messy after a certain someone gets home from work and throws his shit all over the place and uses every dish in the house..also beer bottles are all over the house(We have a trash can!).I just got home from the vet on base. I had to register Rowdy and I had to put him on the waiting list to get his little balls chopped off.It's going to take a long time ...she didn't give me a date. She gave me a number to get him neutered at a different place.

Rowdy had still been acting kind of funny. He hurt one of his paws on an aunt hill..I think.He found out how to get up on the couch all by himself. The only problem is getting off the couch.Rowdy has been stuck to either James or me all the time. I can't go pee without him right next to the potty.Yesterday morning I took a bath and he was so close to getting in the tub with me.His little paws we dangling in the water and he was trying to drink it.He does need a bath but not while I'm trying to take one!

We got a washer and dryer yesterday!!Woohoo. Now I don't have to listen to stupid privates talk about how they think they are billy bad ass. I went out to Lowe's last night to get the plug and the guy gave me the wrong one. Guess laundry will have to wait till James hooks up the new chord.I also restocked the house with food. I got enough stuff to make tacos,stir fry and other real food.

On Friday they city destroyed the house across the street with a bulldozer. I'm not gonna lie it was pretty freakin sweet to watch. Now we don't have to look at a boarded up house anymore.James was not as excited about it. He had a 4 day weekend to be a lazy as he wanted.

Saturday night James mom and her boyfriend came up for dinner. It wasn't as bad as I thought It would be. But then again I did have 5 Smirnoff to help with the night.

So this is our apartment..figured now is a good time to do this while its actually clean.

Hi Grandma!

YAY CABLE ANDDD INERNET!!

WOOHOO! We got cable and internet now. The apartment isn't crazy quiet now. I'm attempting to make my first chicken and stuffing..we shall see how that goes.

The movers came yesterday with all of our stuff. We now have a couch and a dinning room set and a BED! I'm so excited to sleep on a comfy bed. Since we don't have a washer and dryer...and i had to wait all freakin day for the stupid cable guy..I decided to wash James work clothes in the sink and tub. HAH! Well he now has green and not so white socks (the green bled onto them). I put some towels on the floor and hung everything in the laundry room to dry. Um yeah I'm never ever doing that again. I will just go to the stupid laundry place and do it there.(so much for trying to save some money)

Little Rowdy has been having a hard time since we moved into the apartment. The first night he slept on top of us or right next to us. Since that night he has been glued to us. He's not eating as much and is just being a bum.We are not allowed to get him a little playmate..so maybe in a year we will move some place a bit nicer and they will let us have another dog.
